Louvre Lens

In December 2012, the Louvre-Lens, a branch of the Louvre located in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, was inaugurated. This new establishment offers the institution a unique opportunity to take a fresh look at the museum and its collections, to rethink its relationship with the works and to experiment with new forms of mediation.
As a master builder, on-situ has three essential missions:
- participation in the museographic design of exhibitions and the implementation of decision-making tools (e.g. virtual model of exhibitions simulated in an immersive space),
- design of the complete digital mediation program (concrete and detailed definition of each installation),
- monitoring of the realisation of the multimedia installations by the selected companies and coordination of the productions.
