Retrospective(s)

Romainmôtier is a Cluniac site located in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Its abbey-church bears witness to a thousand-year-old past.

Produced in close collaboration with the archaeologist Peter Eggenberger, Retrospective(s) retraces the construction phases of the abbey site. Composed largely in image synthesis, it illustrates the history of the site from the Gallo-Roman period to the present day. Rétrospective(s) unravels the traces unearthed by archaeologists and helps to read the current building. The virtual restitution crosses the periods and offers a new vision of the monastery's mutations.

Broadcast on site, Rétrospective(s) has been produced in DVD accompanied by a portfolio.
