Museum of Romanity
Ancient times had a profound influence on Nîmes' architecture and identity. The city still possesses an invaluable Roman heritage (Amphitheatre, Maison carrée temple, Tour Magne, remains of the rampart...) in an excellent state of conservation. Designed by the architect Elizabeth de Portzamparc, Musée de la Romanité (Museum of Romanity) makes this heritage speak for itself by exploring the city and its ancient past. on-situ has created several scenographic installations for Musée de la Romanité, displaying scientific data (archaeological, cartographic) in a fluid, sensitive and natural reading.
